For more than 30 years, I’ve built a career around one thing:

People.

I’ve been at the very heart of the Australian screen industry discovering talent, shaping stories, and developing performers for the screen.

My work spans every corner of the landscape — from international feature film blockbusters like The Lord of the Rings and X-Men, to culturally defining scripted television like The Secret Life of Us and Home & Away, through to unscripted, award-winning powerhouse formats like Gogglebox, Survivor Australia, Portrait Artist of the Year, and Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds.

Across hundreds of hours of screen content, I’ve developed a distinct instinct for what makes a performance believable, what makes an audience care, and what producers, directors, and followers are desperately searching for.

Casting, Discovery & Performance Coaching

To me, casting has never just been about filling roles — it’s about discovering human potential and nurturing performance.

Throughout my career, my work has sat at the intersection of casting, talent development, and craft training:

Unearthing Breakout Talent. I’ve had the privilege of discovering and championing breakthrough performers early in their careers — from being instrumental in casting Chris Hemsworth in Home & Away, to finding household names across major unscripted and broadcast franchises.

Nurturing Craft & Confidence. Alongside my work in casting rooms, I’ve spent decades in workshops, drama schools (including NIDA), and 1-on-1 sessions training actors, emerging talent, content creators, and public figures.

Shaping Stories & Industry recognition. From collaborating with industry icons like Peter Jackson, John Polson, Scott Hicks, and John Edwards, to building casts for projects that have won Logies, AACTA’s, SPA Awards and even an international Emmy.
